A Little About Me

My name is Venetia. After a career working as a therapist, I moved down to Brighton and Hove to be closer to the sea for my beloved dog Gracie.I now live in the beautiful (mostly) sunny Hove, where I spend as much time outdoors with my furry clients as possible!

Gracie's Story

I didn’t go looking for Gracie — she found me.At just four months old, she had already experienced more than any puppy should. Neglected, left alone in a dark room, and being sold for £100 by someone unable to care for her… that’s how our story began.It turned out to be the best £100 I ever spent!I gave Gracie what she had never known — a safe, loving home. She had routine, stability, two long walks every day, and oodles of love.What followed was a journey of patience and trust. Gracie came with anxiety, but with time, training, and consistency, she blossomed into a confident, joyful dog — even going on to win Most Improved Dog of the Year at Westminster Council.More than anything, she changed me.

Gracie brought me into nature, into connection, and into the present moment. She taught me calmness, awareness, and how to truly understand a dog.We spent fifteen beautiful years together. She was my companion, my teacher, and the heart behind everything I do.I thought I rescued Gracie… but really, we rescued each other.This service is named in her honour

Venetia regularly takes Lenny, our dog, on walks. She is exceptionally good with him; even when he's anxious, she always calms him. The best dog walker we have used.
